Colin Thackery was a top scientist in the field of electromagnetic radiation and light energy. It’s almost trite to refer to “radiation accidents” but in his case, it’s extremely accurate. Prolonged exposure had given him a tolerance that allowed him to survive the overload incident, but he soaked up enough radiation that he can now expel it in various ways, altering the EMS frequency to shift the effect. His skin has also never lost the cyanotic pallor that resulted from the exposure. Since medicine for people with unusual abilities is hardly standard, he signed on with Star Patrol as a scientific expert and medical consultant. He often uses his abilities to aid healing in injured teammates.
